MudRatz sailors aged 23 and under sail with us for free. $25 a year for everyone else. Either way you get a full vote on what we race and when we sail, and you do not need a boat to join.
How to pay
Nothing is taken on this website. Once you have sent the form, pay MudRatz Inc, who look after the money for us, by PayPal or card, by Venmo to @mudratzinc, or by cheque to MudRatz Inc, PO Box 293, Stonington, CT 06378.
Put "MMYC membership" in the note. That is the only way the treasurer can tell your dues apart from a donation, and the two are treated differently.
Two things worth being straight about. Membership dues are not tax deductible, because they buy you a vote and the use of the club's kit. Gifts and donated boats are, because they go to MudRatz as donations. That is about what the money is, not the order you pay it in: dues plus a gift means the gift is still deductible.
